What appears to be the Terminator version of a level, Stanley terrorizes your toolbox with their new FATMAX Lighted level, includes shock absorbing ends, uses 3 AAA (does not say if included) to light up those little bubbles of greenness’. Didn’t get one for review, but looks sturdy, probably don’t want me dropping it from my 20 foot roof top. This adds to something like 50 different levels they manufacture! I guess we all have different levels of need… ya that sounded cheesy, but I love cheese.

If you don’t feel like mucking around with batteries to to get level in the dark, you might want to check out the Torpedo Level (See Lee Valley which has it on special for only 8.50 CDN at: www.leevalley.com) which features phosphorescent frames so you just put it up to the light and then drag it down to… say the dark dungeon your building in the basement as a common example. It’s magnetic by the way, might come in handy in some instances, and it’s made in AMERICA!

Interesting user experiances, and has had a lot, on lazer cutters at www.inlay.com. Explains all the workings and various considerations/factors of material. Even if you will never own one, as I, it’s very interesting as he explains all the details on how they work as well as operation.

Just wanted to point out CH’s (Campbell Hausfeld) dedicated air powered nailers site, quite the products! See it at: www.chnailers.com

They feature lazer guide, bubble levels and a really cool swivel hose adaptor and what I find… cool is the Built-in stud finder (15 gauge only) to name a few.
